WUKA: D2C Comms

What?

  • I designed and implemented a new multi-campaign D2C comms strategy for WUKA Wear, including the implementation of both email and SMS content for various product ranges across the seasonal sales period of October 2023 to March 2024.

  • WUKA Wear is a D2C female-health brand that pioneered the UK’s first sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional tampons and single-use period pads, with their washable period pants and period-friendly activewear.

Why?

  • WUKA Wear was underutilising email as a D2C sales channel, with limited customer segmentation, limited A/B testing and experimentation with campaigns outside of the traditional product launch format.

  • A new visual format as well as punchier, humour-driven copy was required to align with WUKA’s refreshed brand identity.


Wins & deliverables

  • Segmentation-focused, multi-campaign strategy with A/B testing to promote and drive sales for WUKA’s existing product lines.

  • 103% revenue increase from direct marketing alone over a period of 6 months.
